How long does it take to create an iPad App?

Many companies and potential clients are often somewhat surprised at how long it takes to develop an app from start to finish. While apps are run on mobile phones and don’t typically take up much memory, they still take a good deal of time to plan out, design, develop, test (hate the applications that freeze, lose what you where just typing and then turn off right?) and launch. While they rarely take as long to develop as a full software application or website, most apps typically take at least two to three months to develop from start to finish.

10 HTML5 Media Players for iPhone, iPad and Android

HTML is the markup language that makes up every page on the web. The newest version HTML5 includes specifications for a video tag, which allow website developers to add a video to a page the same way they would add an image.
Web browser developers (Mozilla, Webkit, Opera, etc.) build the video functionality into their browsers. The W3C have outlined how video should work in browsers, and it’s up to browser developers to follow those directions, so that video works the same across all browsers.
