Flipboard & TweetMag, the future of news distribution?

Its only been 6 weeks since Geoff Teehan and the team at Teehanlax began working on their iPad concept app TweetMag. With the arrival of Flipboard, things may just get interesting.

Flipboard, which is already available for download has had some teething problems. These issues stem from its unanticipated popularity. CEO of flipbaord stating:

“…problematic due to the sheer number of people trying to get setup at once.”

This is a pretty good problem to have. However, with social media becoming more and more a do-or-die for company success (so much so, it now has its own day on the calendar – June 30). You don’t have much time to make your fixes, update bug issues and get version ‘1.1‘ released quick smart before you and your iPad are down the proverbial river without a pabble. Continue reading…
